Unique rock formations and sweeping views of the Columbia River are the highlight to this Eastern Washington hike...

looking in awe of the sisters
Almost equally near Kennewick and Walla Walla, Washington, this kid-friendly hike features fantastic views of otherworldly rock formations, a variety of plant life and the Columbia River on Wallula Gap. You can spend as little or as much time as you'd like at this location, making it a great pick for families with small children.

all smiles at the start of the trail
Many moons ago, a flood forced its way through a narrow cut into this basalt plateau. Twin Sisters Rock is what the flood left behind. There is a large sign at the beginning of the trail, telling the story of the twin sisters. Be sure to read it before embarking on this adventure!
gorgeous overlook of the river
The trail is hikable year round, so make plans to take your family and enjoy the beauty this area has to offer in all four seasons!

great spot for a family photo op
